In 2018 the Wild Irises in the woods and meadows surrounding the vineyard welcomed spring with an abundance of gorgeous flowers. This good sign, foretold a long growing season and more beautiful fruit than anyone expected.  Could this vintage be the best ever?

Rather than increase our production of 2018 Wild Iris, not a grape went into the barrel that wasn’t absolutely perfect! Be prepared to again fall in love with this enticing beauty.

The 2018 Wild Iris overflows with all you expect from this delightfully spirited muse. A golden hue, amazing aroma, opulent fruit, perfect crispness, velvety texture and a memorable finish, how wonderful to find all of this in your glass!

Honeysuckle, cantaloupe melon, citrus, loquat, jasmine and pear drops. The palate is very layered and dense, but with a very well-defined center of acidity and fresh stone fruit. Drink now or hold.  —  James Suckling
