IN THE VINEYARD & WINERY
The 2010 Eternity Reserve Cabernet reflects collaboration among two incomparable vineyard managers; Tom and Josh Clark and two master winemakers; Frederic Delivert and Jean Hoefliger. Their goal, take the trademark tiny, intensely concentrated Clark-Claudon fruit and craft a reserve, World Class, Bordeaux blend.
Meticulous framing, night harvesting, the best of the best from the Clark-Claudon Vineyard, triple sorting, barrel fermenting, hand punch downs, fine grained new French Oak, tasting, tasting and more tasting; every detail addressed with focused attention. The result is a spectacular, estate grown, single vineyard Reserve Cabernet.
WINEMAKERS NOTES
The 2010 Eternity presents with deep, dark, black cherry and touches of Mazarin, red and lavender. Next, experience an explosion of black currant, juicy black cherry, cedar, touches of thyme and tarragon, clay, granite, bacon fat, tobacco leaves and pronounced depth in the nose. The wine enters the mouth softly while evolving on velvety, well integrated tannins and seamless texture adding dark fruits; plum and boysenberry. It then lingers with chocolate powder, apricot, a touch of black licorice and roasted coffee beans in the finish…Spectacular!
Eternity, originally produced in honor of our daughter Briana’s wedding, is a beautiful expression of place, the season and the passion of its makers.
